The day begins with a 10am scenic journey from Queenstown to historic Arrowtown. Guests receive their standard pedal bike and helmet, bike fitting, safety briefing and trail map before setting off on an approximately 15km self-guided ride from Arrowtown to Gibbston Valley. Follow beautiful riverside trails, cross spectacular bridges and enjoy mountain scenery along the way.
Bike first, wine later. Once the ride is complete, guests meet their qualified local Wine Guide in Gibbston Valley, leave the bikes behind and relax into the afternoon by Wine Hopper vehicle. Their Wine Guide takes care of the driving and helps personalise the experience, visiting approximately 3–4 wineries and local venues before returning to Queenstown at approximately 6pm.
Wine tastings, food and other drinks are purchased directly at the venues, giving guests the freedom to choose what they would like to enjoy along the way.
